Own a piece of airline history! This batch was made using the skin of N17535's nose. N17535 (C/N 47111) is a Douglas DC-9-32 that proudly served several airlines before being scrapped in Mojave, California (2001). She flew from 1967 to 2000.

Here is a brief history of this DC-9's service:

  • Delivered to Swissair and leased to Scandinavian Airlines System November 7, 1967 as LN-RLS
  • Re-registered to Swissair August 21, 1968 as HB-IFP
  • Registered to Texas International Airlines in April 1981 as N535TX
  • Merged with Continental Air Lines October 1982
  • Leased to New York Air in March 1986
  • Merged with Continental Airlines in February 1987
  • Re-registered as N17535 in October 1991
  • Sold to Spirit Airlines in November 1997
  • Decommissioned and scrapped in 2000
